eGift Card Terms and Conditions
- General Terms
T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards are distributed by CashStar, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("CashStar"). TJX Incentive Sales, Inc. and CashStar reserve the right to change these eGift Card Terms and Conditions (Ts & Cs) from time to time in their discretion. T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards are issued by TJX Incentive Sales, Inc.
- eGift Cards
T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only at T.J.Maxx, tjmaxx.com, Marshalls and HomeGoods locations in the United States (including Puerto Rico).
T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards are available for purchase here.
No fees of any kind will be imposed on purchasers or recipients in connection with the sale or delivery of eGift Cards. While no shipping or other fees will be charged for the sale or delivery of T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards, if you use a T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Card to purchase products from T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods online, applicable fees to ship your product(s) may be charged. Purchaser of eGift Card is charged any applicable sales tax.
Use of your eGift Card constitutes acceptance of these Ts & Cs. The eGift Card cannot be redeemed until activated. Purchases with the eGift Card will be deducted from the balance until it reaches $0.00. The eGift Card is redeemable for merchandise only at T.J.Maxx, tjmaxx.com, Marshalls and HomeGoods in the United States (including Puerto Rico) and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law. If lost or stolen, it will not be replaced. This eGift Card has no expiration date and incurs no dormancy fees. Any term is void where prohibited by law. This eGift Card is issued by and represents an obligation of TJX Incentive Sales, Inc., a Virginia corporation.
- View Your Balance
For balance inquiry, please check your most recent receipt, visit tjmaxx.com or bring your eGift Card to any store and an associate will be happy to provide you with your balance.
You may not return or cancel your T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Card after it is received. Purchasers who have selected a delivery date in the future and wish to cancel an eGift Card purchase order prior to its delivery to a recipient should contact Customer Support at least 24 hours prior to the delivery date selected during the purchase process.
- Lost or Stolen eGift Cards
If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your eGift Card, contact Customer Support immediately. eGift Cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen. eGift Cards are valuable and should be safeguarded accordingly. If you delete the email via which you access your T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Card, you may re-send it to yourself using the Customer Self Service tool, or contact Customer Support.
The maximum value that can be associated with any one eGift Card is five hundred dollars ($500.00). Total purchases of T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards for any one individual may not exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) in one calendar day. You may not use an eGift Card to purchase other eGift Cards.
eGift Cards cannot be reloaded, and, except to the extent required by law, cannot be redeemed for cash.

- Risk of Loss
Ownership and risk of loss of eGift Cards passes to the purchaser as soon as we send our confirmation to the recipient. We are not responsible for lost or stolen eGift Cards. If you have any questions, please see the FAQs.

- Payment Methods
T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards may be paid for with a valid VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express card, or, if available, PayPal.
- Delivery Information and Requirements for eGift Card Purchasers
All orders of eGift Cards are subject to a process that compares purchaser information provided on the web site with information about the purchaser provided by the purchaser's financial institution. If there is a discrepancy, your eGift Card order may be delayed until it can be corrected.
If the date on which you want an eGift Card delivered has passed and you have not received confirmation that the eGift Card was sent, please contact Customer Support. Please refer to your order number, or be ready to supply your email address.
We are not responsible for eGift Cards that are undeliverable or not received due to your failure to enter an accurate email address for the recipient. Please check to make sure the email address of the recipient is correct and contact Customer Support if you suspect the recipient did not receive his/her eGift Card. Should an email be returned to us due to inaccurate delivery information for the recipient, we will attempt to contact you for a valid email address.
- Reasons for Failed Delivery
If you have confirmed the recipient's email address but the eGift Card has not been viewed within a reasonable period after the requested delivery date, following is a list of the most common reasons why delivery may have failed:
- Spam filter blocked email or routed it to a bulk/spam folder
- Recipient's firewall blocked the email
- Email inbox is over size limit
- Invalid email address

- Personalized Messaging
If you wish to add a personal message to an eGift Card, simply type your message in the Message field on the eGift Card preview.
Personal messages are limited in length to the space provided on the eGift Card.
There is no additional charge to include a personalized message.
Do not include any content in your personal message that is inappropriate, offensive, illegal or otherwise objectionable. If we find inappropriate, offensive, illegal or otherwise objectionable messages, we reserve the right to cancel them. Thanks for your cooperation.
- Limitation of Liability
CASHSTAR AND ITS AFFILIATES AND TJX INCENTIVE SALES, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO EGIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF AN EGIFT CARD CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS. CASHSTAR AND ITS AFFILIATES AND TJX INCENTIVE SALES, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING SPECIAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, RESULTING FROM OR RELATING TO ANY EGIFT CARD. IN NO EVENT WILL CASHSTAR AND ITS AFFILIATES OR TJX INCENTIVE SALES, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE EGIFT CARD.
You hereby consent that any dispute between you and CashStar governed by the laws of the State of Maine or its affiliates relating in any way to T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards shall be adjudicated in Cumberland County, Maine if the aggregate total claim for relief exceeds $7,500, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. The location and controlling law for any dispute between you and TJX Incentive Sales, Inc. or its affiliates related to T.J.Maxx | Marshalls | HomeGoods eGift Cards is contained in the Terms and Conditions found at www.tjmaxx.com, www.marshallsonline.com and www.homegoods.com.
